June 5-7, 2008 Laughlin, NV to Flagstaff, AZ 4th Annual 3-Day Event & Tour (Route 66). We'll cruise on the longest stretch of Route 66 left in America. Join us for this 100 mile tour back in time as we relive the good ol' days of the Mother Road. We'll stage in Downtown Kingman (a 30-minute drive from Laughlin) where we pick up old Route 66. From there, we'll head east through the historic towns of Hackberry, Valentine, Truxton, Peach Springs and Seligman, home of Angel Delgadillo and the famous Snow Cap Drive-In. The tour will not make any stops on Route 66 due to limited parking. However, we invite you to stop and explore wherever you wish. The pace car will continue east past Seligman on Route 66 to Interstate 40 where we will travel for 22-miles, ending in Williams, the last Route 66 town in America to be bypassed. We will arrive around lunchtime and park our cars in Downtown Williams on Route 66. Think about eating in one of the old diners and shop for your favorite Route 66 souvenir. We'll see you in Flagstaff (a 30-minute drive) at our host hotel, Little America.

July 16, 2008, Sioux Falls, SD & July 17-19, 2008, Spearfish, SD Brad Thacher, GM's AfterSales Program Readiness Manager for Performance Cars, will be driving his '09 ZR1 to Sioux Falls, SD for 'Hot Summer Nights' and on to the Black Hills Corvette Classic (BHCC), held in Spearfish, SD. Brad, who is the keynote speaker at BHCC banquet on Saturday evening (July 19th), has been with GM for 25 years and with Team Corvette for the last 10 years. He has worked in a variety of positions and took part in the development of the C5 and C6. He has also been involved in the

GT and the
Daewoo G2X. Brad will be accompanied by a GM display transport, carrying a few of GM's show vehicles! Current plans are for this transport and it's displays to be only in Sioux Falls for 'Hot Summer Night!'. At this point Brad is scheduled to arrive in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, the 16th, for the 'Gathering of Corvettes' at Billion's Southtown (exit 64, I-29S). Brad's ZR1 will be on display, along with locally owned ZR-1; the original 'King of the Hill' ' making this an awesome display of power and 'out of the box' development and design!. Later in the afternoon, Brad will lead a caravan as part of the festivities of 'Hot Summer Nights!'; where more then 700 hot Corvettes will be on display. There will be food, drinks and lot of fun as Rock N Roll is celebrated on the streets of historic downtown Sioux Falls.
Bright and early (7 AM) on Thursday, the 17th, Brad and his ZR1 will kick off the BHCC by leading 'the worlds largest and longest caravan', on it's 392 mile trip to Spearfish, SD. The caravan will be departing from the rear parking lot of the Best Western Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center: I-29N, exit 81
The ZR1 will be on display at the Holiday Inn in Spearfish ' headquarters for the BHCC throughout the weekend and will be one of 'featured Vettes' for 'Vette Street USA' on Friday evening, downtown Spearfish.
