To Celebrate Corvette's 50th Anniversary, the National Corvette Museum will present an Historic Motorama of Corvettes. The NCM Historic Motorama will consist of one Corvette from each production year, 1953-2002.
The Motorama will begin at Corvette's birthplace in Flint Michigan, to its current home in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Scheduled stops include the GM Design Center in Detroit, where Harley Earl and his design staff sculptured the concept car that became the Corvette, as well as St. Louis, where the car was produced from the end of 1953 to 1981.
Beginning June 24, 2002, the Motorama plans to make it final stop at the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant on June 28, where it will be joined by the 50th Anniversary Corvette for the last mile of the Motorama's journey and its ultimate destination--the National Corvette Museum. The Motorama's arrival will signal the beginning of the Museum's three-day Corvette celebration.
Entries for the first Lifetime member lottery must be postmarked by June 15, 2001. Entries for the second lottery open to the general membership will be accepted from July 1 through August 24, 2001.
