For those with six-speed manual-transmission-equipped Corvettes, GM Performance Parts introduces its new close-ratio T56 six-speed manual transmission. Equipped with tighter ratio splits between all gears, this transmission was track-tested and proven in Showroom Stock competition. It keeps your engine in its powerband under hard acceleration and deceleration, giving you the opportunity to go faster.
Additionally, owners of fourth-generation Corvettes equipped with the DNE 4+3 transmission will be able to swap this six-speed manual-overdrive transmission into their Corvettes, thanks to a transmission swap available soon from Keisler Automotive Engineering. For more information on the DNE 4+3 swap, contact Keisler Automotive Engineering at (865) 609-8187, or visit www.keislerauto.com.
